I dance because it makes me feel most like myself. Dance makes my soul feel full and when I am moving the way my body asks of me, I feel complete. I dance because of the way music makes me feel. There is something about a rhythm or beat that makes me feel inspired to move my body with it. This, to me, is so special because I feel that music and I collaborate, and it never feels forced or unnatural. This represents a natural love and desire to make this type of art form and I simply cannot live without it. 

            I feel that the dance styles I most enjoy represent cultures and different movement styles. Although I see myself as a versatile dancer, I excel most at jazz and hip-hop techniques, and I have a deep passion for these forms of dance. I feel as though I enjoy the lively and bubbly forms of this art and crave more of the happy upbeat energies when I am dancing. I cannot imagine not dancing my whole life, and I cannot wait to continue sharing my talents with others as I gain more experience doing what I love.
